Best Picture Oscar winner! :love:

I just wanted to say that I saw this movie about a month ago and I instantly fell in love with it. It was so different, and I think everyone did an amazing job at portraying their character.

People argue that it won 8 (count 'em Curious Case of Benjamin Button! You too Revolutionary Road!) Oscar awards because it is "the exotic flavor of the time" (a quote from my Genre's teacher), and that may be true. However... It was an amazing movie with one of the best music I've heard in a movie, almost as cool as John Williams (the composer for Steven Spielburg's films).

Oh and, by the way...

I LOVE DEV PATEL! :heart: :faint:

He stands in my hall of fame of amazing guys... I think I'll make a journal about that one day :D

This movie was based on a novel titled Q&A by Vikas Swarup (which I plan to read)

Well I think there's some of the exotic but not a lot since it's not the nice and atractive india it deals about but of slums and dangers there.
I really think they earnt each and every Oscar they won farely! =)

They were actually going to choose another guy for the part! I was soooo so happy that they didn't; Dev played his part like the beast he is... :drool:

I am very much in love with the dance he does with Freida Pinto also, it's so fun!

It's just so different from all the other movies out there right now, I think it deserves to be called one of the greatest movies of the modern time.
